It’s back! The Oasis Academy Book Fair is scheduled for November 14-17. This year’s fair’s theme is camping with the slogan, “Let’s Read S’more.” Scholastic Books will again be the vendor for the event.
The Fair will be held in the Makerspace and be open to parents daily before and after school. Students will be able to purchase books during their lunch breaks and scheduled classroom times. November 16 is Family Night from 5-7 p.m. For individuals unable to attend they are encouraged to purchase books through the website https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/oasisacademyfallon starting November 14.
Proceeds from the Book Fair will be used to purchase books for kids and classrooms.
"Since I was a young girl I've loved stories. The best books hold a special magic that can ignite a love of learning in even the youngest children. It's a joy to provide families an opportunity to instill a love of reading in their kids and support Oasis Academy at the same time. A large portion of the proceeds from all books purchased at our book fair are returned to our school," said Book Fair Chair and parent volunteer Anna-Lisa Laca.
