Which is better - the book or the movie? After finishing math MAP testing AND reading Charlotte's Web, 2nd graders got to enjoy watching the movie. They then got to compare and contrast the book and movie. #reading #testingreward #charlottesweb #bighornblue #poweroflearning


6th graders held a simulation of a Colonial Congress to discuss five proposals regarding the Stamp Act of the American Revolution. The Patriots won and passed four out of five proposals in favor of opposing the British. #history #poweroflearning #bighornblue

Students played a game to help better understand capacity. They were challenged to figure out how many cups there are in a gallon. They were lined up in groups of 6 and had a relay race. They learned that running with water definitely affects accuracy. What a refreshing lesson!



Boys and Girls Cross Country Preseason workouts will begin July 15th, for Middle School (5-8) and High School. Mondays – 5:30pm – Venturacci Park, Wednesdays – 5:30pm – Rattlesnake Raceway, Fridays – 5:30pm – Rattlesnake Raceway

Oasis Academy Class of 2024 graduate Tyler Siebecker from Naval Air Station Fallon Teen Center was named the Nevada State Military Youth of the Year Winner at the competition held in Las Vegas March 15-16. The Oasis Academy Uniform Store will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning July 30. School uniforms for K-8 students are to be purchased through our Uniform Store with funds going directly back to students and supporting the school. Show your Bighorn spirit!
