Lifetouch Photo will be at Oasis Academy main building THIS Wednesday, August 17 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to take school / ID pictures for ALL STAFF & HIGH SCHOOL students (grades 9-12). You must have your picture taken for your school ID and the yearbook, even if you do not wish to purchase any pictures. Meet the Bighorns... Eric Grimes has been a full-time teacher at Oasis Academy College Prep for four years now. He teaches American Government with Economics, We the People, Constitutional History, and Political Science. He is also an Affiliate Professor with Western Nevada College and the advisor for the Car Club. Learning never stops is something Grimes firmly believes. He has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Oasis is thrilled to have Calvin Connors join the team for the 22-23 school year. Connors will be part of the Special Education Team for OACP. Working in education for three years now, he has taught Biology and Health/PE at Lowry High School. Education has been part of Connors entire life. Connors is looking forward to getting to know the staff and students. He is also hoping to get some basketball in on the playground once in a while. In his free time he enjoys archery, exercising, and watching sports or Survivor with his wife Ali and their dog.
